About Little Hearts Community School
Our Story
Little Hearts began in 2019 as a small creche with a clear purpose, to provide a safe, caring, and structured environment for young children. From the start, our focus has been on building confidence, independence, and a strong foundation for learning.
We understand that early childhood is where everything begins. That is why we create a space where children feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to grow at their own pace. Through daily routines, guided play, and hands-on learning, children begin to develop important life skills while enjoying their early years.
Little Hearts Creche
Little Hearts Creche is where our journey started, and it remains an important part of who we are today. Many families still know us by this name, and it represents the care, trust, and strong relationships we have built over the years.
As a creche, we focused on children from 1 month to Grade RR. Our approach was centred on daily care, routine, and helping children grow into more independent individuals. We supported early milestones such as walking, communication, social interaction, and potty training in a safe and structured environment.
Parents trusted us not only for supervision, but for real development. Children were guided step by step to become confident, comfortable, and ready for the next stage of learning.
Even as we grow, Little Hearts Creche remains the foundation of our identity, and it continues to serve younger children with the same level of care and attention.
Little Hearts Community School
As the school continued to grow, we expanded our offering to meet the needs of our learners and parents. This led to the introduction of Grade R, followed by Grade 1 up to Grade 3.
With this growth, the name changed to Little Hearts Community School to reflect the full journey we now offer, from early childhood to the beginning of primary school.
Today, we provide structured learning programs from 1 month to Grade 3. Our school combines care, learning, and development in a balanced way. Children move from early care into formal learning with confidence, supported every step of the way.
At the Woodhouse branch, we offer Grade R to Grade 3 in a more spacious environment suited for primary school learning. Preschool is also available there. The Carbis Road branch remains focused on younger children up to Grade RR.
Little Hearts Community School continues to grow, with a clear focus on building confident, independent learners who are ready for the next stage of their education.
